My name is Shannon Flynn and I am an undergrad student at the University of British Columbia. I major in the Combined Major of Biochemistry and Chemistry and have a passion to study the chemistry of the human brain and how pharmaceuticals interact with the human brain. I hope to one day work with longevity in medicine and discover better medications to treat patients with mental illness. The brain is one of the most complex things in the universe and we still understand to little, I want to dedicate my life to learning all that I can about it. I have been working with MARI for over a year, which began with researching for our books and have since worked my way up to a manager in the social media team. We are all a family at MARI and it is such an amazing family to be a part of.
